Janitorial Specialist

Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

• Janitorial Duties: Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial equipment.
• Specialized Cleaning: Dust and wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures; clean windows and ledges.
• Trash and Recycling: Empty waste baskets and replace liners; sweep and mop tile areas.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals; sweep and mop floors with disinfectant.
• Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
• Skills: Good listening and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our facilities are located in a small-to-large office environment. Safety glasses are required while performing certain tasks. The noise level is usually moderate, and you will be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment.
