Job Description
We are seeking a talented Photojournalist/Storyteller to join our team in Spotlight on Maryland.
The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in ENG news production, with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in video editing, storytelling, and visual content creation. They should be able to work effectively under tight deadlines, possess excellent people skills, and have a passion for storytelling.
The role involves editing and shooting general assignment stories, live shots, and in-depth features, as well as maintaining a valid driver's license and being able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds regularly.
The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that meets the standards of our organization, including capturing video images for digital, social, and television platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Editing and shooting general assignment stories, multiple live shots, and natural sound packages
- Shooting and editing day-to-day general assignment stories, in-depth features, and investigative assignments, as well as shooting live shots
- Exceptional video editing skills on non-linear edit systems and basic graphics skills
