Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at Heartland Business Systems, LLC. As a Technical Architect, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting network services and solutions for our consulting clients.

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute large projects on time and on budget, working closely with Project Managers and Practice Leads.
• Provide leadership and articulate to the Project Management Team what is needed for success, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Lead projects with multiple different technologies, providing expertise and guidance to team members.
• Communicate daily updates on all projects, being proactive with communication to all parties on timelines, hours, resources, concerns, etc.
• Execute collaboration between different business units to provide a world-class experience for customers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, taking a leadership role in Team and customer meetings.
• Contribute to product selection and research, configuration standards, and best practices, educating sales teams on these products and services.
• Work in a team atmosphere between regional and virtual practices, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Maintain current vendor/industry-specific certifications and stay current on new products and solutions.
• Continuously grow personally, improving your skill set around project experience, leadership, certifications, and technical expertise.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical-related field.
• Preferred experience: 6-8 years in a technical-related field, 4+ years of experience working as a Consultant.
• Required Skills, Education, and/or Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certifications, at least two or more Professional-level certifications, CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA, experience designing and architecting network-based solutions, installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products, IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices, Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS.
• Preferred Skills, Education, and/or Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, ACMP, ACCP, ACCX, ACEAP, MCE or equivalent level certifications, installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products, IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices, Cisco Nexus technologies such as VDC, vPC, VXLAN, etc., Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS, Cisco-based ISR-based VPN solutions such as FLEX-VPN, GET-VPN, or DMVPN, Data Center/Core design, configuration, and implementation utilizing Cisco Nexus Architecture (9K, 7K, 6K, 5K, 3K, 2K, 1000V), Software Defined Networking (SDA, SD-WAN), Cisco/Meraki/Aruba Wireless, Controller or autonomous-based, Design using Ekahau or similar product, High Density/Manufacturing/Office/Education, Familiarity or experience with: Meraki (Wireless, Security Products, Switches, SDWAN), Citrix NetScaler ADC/SDWAN deployment a plus, Network security appliances Including Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto firewalls and related technology, Additional core technologies such as: Riverbed, OpenDNS, Infoblox, Cisco Optical, NetBrain, FireEye, SolarWinds, SPLUNK.
