Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution global practice in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will serve as a lead engineer on telecommunications projects, working closely with our clients to deliver innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute the electrical design of projects from conceptual phase to design completion.
  • Research, design, and compile project-related data as required by client needs.
  • Apply knowledge of commonly used electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry to complex engineering problems.
  • Perform field inspections, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
  • Manage creation of and reviews project deliverables, including device configurations, network architecture diagrams, and specifications.
  • Utilize innovative tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D scanning, and model-based design.
  • Review construction drawings and deliver client presentations for a variety of projects primarily related to electric utilities.
  • Meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel to develop relationships with key client points of contact.
  • Perform design quality reviews.
  • Lead and coordinate the creation of proposals.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering, construction management, or related field from an accredited curriculum.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of utility Networks, Integration and Automation project experience with at least three (3) years related project management experience and mission-critical experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Valid driver's license required.

The expected compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 annually. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
