Role Summary: We are in search of a committed and skilled Head Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage the housekeeping crew at Milwaukee Airport. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial cleaning, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a strong dedication to upholding the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate the housekeeping team's daily operations.
  • Guarantee that all airport areas, including restrooms, waiting lounges, offices, and public spaces, are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Train and guide housekeeping personnel on effective cleaning methods, equipment usage, and safety practices.
  • Manage the stock of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Address cleaning emergencies or special requests from airport management promptly.
  • Maintain clear communication with airport staff, management, and other departments for seamless operations.
  • Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks to housekeeping personnel.
  • Monitor and report maintenance or repair requirements to the relevant department.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • This position involves active participation in daily cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

* Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals utilized in commercial cleaning operations.

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.

* Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and handling multiple responsibilities.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards and quality assurance.

* Effective communication skills with cleaning staff, airport management, and other stakeholders.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

* Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks and navigate the airport terminal.

* Willingness to undergo background checks and security screenings as mandated for airport employment.

* Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Note: This job description outlines the general duties and responsibilities of the Head Housekeeping Supervisor position. Duties may be adjusted or expanded based on the needs of the airport and the cleaning company.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly, bend, stretch, climb stairs, use a ladder, reach, twist, sit, walk, and squat. Must be comfortable working on feet for the entire shift.
