Key Responsibilities
The Home Inspector will be tasked with performing thorough inspections of residential properties, generating detailed electronic reports, and delivering outstanding customer service. In addition to standard inspections, candidates may be required to conduct supplementary services. The role demands the ability to navigate challenging environments, including attics, roofs, crawlspaces, and the use of ladders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of an Ohio Home Inspector License (candidates without licensure may still be considered based on fit)
- Exceptional customer service capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of computers, internet, email, and photographic equipment
- Professional demeanor and attitude
- Mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including annual continuing education and skill enhancement
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting inspection equipment, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record. Access to the internet and a mobile phone is also required. A comprehensive background check will be conducted prior to employment. We offer flexible scheduling, necessary software, errors and omissions insurance, and full administrative support.
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience
