Job Description

As a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of military operations by providing power to run virtually every aspect of Army activity. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and repairing generation equipment, including tactical utility sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance on power generation equipment, including generators, powerplants, and electrical distribution systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with power generation equipment
  • Adjust frequencies and voltages to enhance equipment efficiency
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure seamless operation of power generation systems
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
