Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Service Technician to join our team at ProMach in Holland, MI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing Fogg filling equipment, as well as servicing and installing equipment in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test run fillers, parts assemblies, and related equipment
  • Disassemble, prepare, and crate parts and equipment for shipment to customers
  • Fabricate parts as necessary and document work
  • Reorder parts needed through Parts Coordinator or Materials Manager
  • Photograph machines, complete checklists, and document information
  • Travel periodically to customers for installation and/or service of Fogg machines
  • Gain a working knowledge of basic electronic functions and PLC/servo functions
  • Follow routing for parts to other departments in the factory
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of work area
  • Provide feedback to team members regarding engineering, manufacturing, and routing problems
  • Work overtime when scheduled by supervisor
  • Perform and cross-train on various positions as required
  • Complete paperwork and meet daily production requirements
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to communicate with coworkers
  • Valid Passport preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
