At Memorial Health University Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing examinations, evaluations, and therapy diagnosis to patients in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and cognitive therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Illinois or licensure eligible.
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
