We are seeking a qualified Fixed Wing Pilot to deliver essential medical air transportation services. The successful candidate will operate our fleet of Pilatus aircraft. Scheduled shifts will follow a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, accommodating both day and night flights. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all pilots are part of a dedicated, professional team committed to maintaining the highest safety standards for both crew and patients.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certification is mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to obtain an ATP within five years of employment.
  • Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate is required.
  • A valid and unexpired driver's license is necessary.
  • 2,500 total flight hours are required.
  • 2,000 hours of fixed wing flying experience.
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • 500 hours of cross-country flight experience.
  • 100 hours of night flying experience.
  • 75 hours of instrument flying experience (50 of which must be actual).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to various locations.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for all flight operations, adhering to all relevant regulations and company standards, including cleanliness protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, and partner facilities.
  • Provide comprehensive shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for documentation.
  • Maintain all required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may be conducted in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • May involve de-icing the aircraft, assisting with towing, and preparing the plane for flight.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
  • May require assistance with patient loading, with a lifting requirement of up to 70 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
