Job Summary: Trinity College seeks a dedicated professional to lead its efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Director of Multicultural Affairs will provide strategic oversight and fiscal management for programs aimed at diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial activity for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Promoting Respect for Inclusive Diversity in Education (P.R.I.D.E.)
  • Supervise the implementation of programs supported by OMA, including the P.R.I.D.E. peer mentor program and Cultural House Supervisor
  • Provide guidance and support for the Multicultural Affairs Council of Student Government Association
  • Collaborate with student organizations that engage diverse populations and Trinity's religious groups
  • Develop and implement diversity awareness programming and training for students
  • Represent Trinity at professional meetings and support staff/student engagement in external conferences, workshops, and meetings

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Higher Education Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 5-8 years of work experience
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional human relations/customer service skills, and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to maintain professional code of ethics, respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints, and train team members or student employees
  • Skilled in public speaking, program planning, implementation, and management, accounting and budget management, and records maintenance
