Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up dining areas and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions.
  • Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals, meeting scheduled meal times and following established policies and procedures.
  • Deliver residents' meal carts and set and clean assigned dining areas to serve residents.
  • Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators and clean and stock as needed.
  • Wash and store dishes, adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • 1 year of food service experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to all levels within the community.
  • Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents, understanding their special needs.
  • Ability to follow directions and follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • ServSafe certification desirable.
Education and Competencies
  • High school diploma or GED degree.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
