Clinical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Analyst to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our electronic medical system, software applications, and databases.

• Develop and maintain electronic medical system, software applications, and databases
• Provide vision and oversight for complex enterprise projects
• Establish strategic and short-term plans for information technology systems
• Design and support clinical information system training
• Coordinate and manage the design, acquisition, training, and implementation of clinical/healthcare informatics
• Identify applicable information systems that support clinical disciplines
• Facilitate effective communications between different clinical user groups
• Identify risks, potential impact, and mitigation strategies
• Assess clinical staff understanding in using clinical systems
• Develop, implement, and evaluate informatics solutions

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
• Minimum of two years of ambulatory care experience
• At least one to two years of clinical IT experience working with an electronic health record data system
• Current California Nursing license
• At least two years of experience in Cerner functionality
• Knowledge of Cerner's HealtheIntent platform
