Job Summary: Galaxy Healthcare is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies in emergency nursing.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state where the assignment is located.
- 1-2+ years of recent, relevant experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Certifications relevant to the area of practice, such as ACLS and PALS.
