We are seeking a skilled Grain Operator to join our team at our facility in Salisbury, MD. This role is responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting our grain operations, including equipment operation, maintenance, and quality control.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate and maintain equipment involved in grain handling, storage, and drying, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and calibrations of grain testing and weighing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment within the facility, including obtaining and preparing grain samples for testing and grading.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding account information and provide weighing services for inbound and outbound grain shipments.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies, as well as company policies.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field, with basic understanding of standard computer applications and analytical skills.

**Work Environment**

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. The ability to wear protective equipment, including a self-contained breathing apparatus, is required. Occasional travel to remote facilities and customer locations may be necessary.
