Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Operations to join our team at Sabre Industries. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong operational and technical background, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction to drive business performance, and develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to improve efficiencies and achieve margin and profitability goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee major functions, including operations, quality, HR, EHS, and ensure that the divisions' strategic direction and capabilities are aligned with market needs.
  • Change Management: Identify and develop best practices, standardize processes, and drive continuous improvement to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
  • Leadership Development: Manage assigned staff, provide training and development opportunities, and build a high-performing team.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with executive levels and operational management to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of utility transmission industry experience, with 5-7 years of P&L responsibility and a strong operational and technical aptitude.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to assess abstract facts, formulate reasoned alternatives, and positively communicate decisions and solutions.
  • Cultural Fit: Possess a high energy level, enthusiasm, and ability to focus on agreed recommendations and results. Maintain confidences and ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality.
