Executive Chef

**Job Summary**

Manatawny Manor is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture-modified food as directed
• Follow specially prepared menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible quality and consistency
• Ensure compliance with all record-keeping, food safety, and risk management requirements
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Collaborate with other culinary staff to ensure seamless meal service

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Culinary arts degree or experience cooking in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
• Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays
