Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team as a PET/CT Imaging Specialist. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, collaborating with medical directors and supervisors on technical issues, and ensuring the accuracy of patient demographic information.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs diagnostic PET/CT or CT imaging procedures, including injection of radio pharmaceuticals and/or IV contrast, administration of oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction, and filming of images.
  • Assists in procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution, and patient files.
  • Collaborates with medical directors and supervisors on technical issues and equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required.
  • 2 years of applied health science experience required, 4 years preferred.
  • CA Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT) required, CPR/BLS certificate preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification Board (NMTCB) certification required.
