Position Summary:

PMB Talent Partners is looking for a dedicated and experienced Tube Laser Operator to enhance our production team. This role involves not only operating laser machinery but also ensuring that all setups align with both company and customer specifications.

Core Duties:

To excel in this position, candidates must be capable of fulfilling the essential responsibilities outlined below.   • Adheres to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborates with the Manufacturing Supervisor to plan daily and weekly tasks.
  • Uploads part programs into the machine's control system.
  • Adjusts the tube laser to correct issues such as slag, burn-through, and burrs.
  • Employs measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) for initial inspections.
  • Secures inspection approvals for each production run.
  • Works alongside Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
  • Provides training to new team members on machinery operation and departmental procedures.
  • Diagnoses and rectifies basic operational errors with the tube laser.
  • May assist Maintenance with issues beyond standard operational errors.
  • Effectively loads materials and documents production data in the system.
Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED; a one-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience or training in a similar role.
Work Schedule:
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Full-time - 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Shift differential of +$1.50.
