Job Summary

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical disabilities or impairments, using a variety of therapeutic procedures to restore function and mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and rehabilitation goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, using standardized procedures to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, mobility aids, and other aspects of rehabilitation.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, using standardized formats and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in physical therapy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and techniques in physical therapy, attending conferences and workshops as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience working with patients with physical disabilities or impairments, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand for prolonged periods.

  • Interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Use standardized procedures and protocols to assess and treat patients, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
