Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and servicing customers per company standards.
  • Leadership: Train, direct, and monitor department staff to ensure they are meeting company expectations.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is inviting and shoppable, with products customers want to buy in-stock.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels and manage product mix to meet company standards.
  • Employee Development: Train and develop store personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Store Performance: Analyze and improve store performance in areas such as sales, customer count, and cost of goods sold.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of management experience in grocery or related retail industry.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to manage changing priorities, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
