Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Sylvania, Ohio.

About the Job

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek, working 12-hour night shifts. As a Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care for 5-6 patients with complex medical needs, including pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib.
  • Monitor and administer medications, including oral, subcutaneous, and IV medications.
  • Educate patients and families on surgical processes and how to manage their illness or injury.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and record and interpret electronic displays.
  • Interpret and understand telemetry readings, notifying the medical team of any irregularities.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
