Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Water Route Driver to join our team at Hall's Culligan Water. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our premium drinking water and associated products to customers on a predetermined route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Prepare the delivery vehicle each day, familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers' requests, and complete all deliveries on route as scheduled.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, address customer questions or concerns during deliveries, and provide information about products when necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the products being delivered and the proper product handling associated with bottled water, PE tanks, salt, and additional products as applicable.
  • Documentation: Complete customer agreements and route sheets accurately and legibly, perform payment collection from customers, and turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the end of each workday.
  • Safety: Operate delivery vehicles safely, adhere to traffic rules and DOT regulations, and perform Daily Vehicle Inspections (DVIR's) and report any issues to management.
Requirements
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Physical & DOT Drug Screen.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check per Company requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, a driving record check to be insurable by the Company to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to safely operate/drive company vehicles up to 26,001 lbs. daily for approximately 8-10 hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 90lbs on a repetitive basis.
  • Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position.
