Respiratory Therapist RRT Night Shift Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. This is a part-time opportunity, working 24 hours per week on a night shift with weekend rotation.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the department's standards and consistent with state and specialty regulations. They will perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses and notify providers as necessary.
- Respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have an Associate Degree or vocational school graduate, a State-licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, and current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. They must also demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
