About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Building Inspector to join our team in Cedar Park, TX. In this role, you will conduct inspections to ensure that buildings and construction sites comply with safety, structural, and building code regulations.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections before, during, and after construction to identify potential hazards and code violations.
- Issuing violation notices, stop-work orders, and permits as necessary.
- Documenting inspection results and communicating findings to homeowners and contractors.
- Coordinating with other field inspectors and providing training and mentoring to new staff members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- International Code Council (ICC) Certifications for Commercial and Residential Inspectors.
- A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector's License is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building inspection or a related field.
