Job Title: Class B Driver

At Transforce, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B driver to join our team. As a Class B driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products from our warehouse to various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations and ensure timely delivery according to assigned routes.
  • Unload products from trailers, using hand carts or other equipment, and place them in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Pick up, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and transport products back to the warehouse.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time, including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, and company vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are met, including proper temperatures in delivery vehicles, product inspection, and storage to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Follow preferred work methods at all times and immediately report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including hand carts, pallets, load bars, and personal protective equipment.
  • Develop good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
  • Communicate with management regarding any deviations to routes, trailers, or loading issues, as well as customer or product issues.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License and must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a variety of conditions, including wet, hot, and cold temperatures. The associate will be required to work an overnight schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed to meet customer needs.
