C&W FACILITY SERVICES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading service technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Material Handling (MHE) controls systems equipment to ensure operational performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in programming HMI components, PLC programs, and robotics system components and controls. They will also have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading service technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying MHE controls systems equipment
  • Designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects
  • Training and mentoring service technicians and contract technicians
  • Acting as first level escalation support for control system technician teams
  • Applying subject matter expertise in material handling and electronic control systems to maximize building utilization of systems

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial networks, including Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems. They will also have experience with SCADA systems and KPI's, as well as interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.
