Our Float Pool nurses provide care across various units, including Med/Surg, Ortho, Telemetry, Intermediate Care, Inpatient Hospice, and Adult Psychiatric units. Your Responsibilities.

As a General Float Pool RN, your duties will include:
  • Identifying and addressing the psychological and physical needs of patients
  • Ensuring continuity and quality of care with a focus on patient and family well-being
  • Assessing patients' medical conditions upon admission
  • Assisting in the creation of personalized treatment plans
  • Adhering to evaluation, treatment, and documentation protocols
  • Supervising care provided by LPNs and/or CNAs
Your Qualifications.

We value individuals over resumes, yet we seek excellence in our candidates. Therefore, we require:
  • ASN/ADN from an accredited institution, with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within four years of hire, unless possessing a minimum of fifteen years of continuous RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain a Colorado RN license
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain it within sixty days of hire (with prior approval), along with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience in an acute care inpatient environment
