Position Overview
- 1 Physician from 7am to 7pm; Tele-Hospitalist from 7pm to 7am
- Must be located within 30 minutes of the hospital for night call from 7pm to 7am
- Average Patient Census: 8-18
- 12-hour shifts; 7am to 7pm
- 7 on / 7 off work schedule
- Open ICU
- Required Procedures:
- Endotracheal Intubation
- Central Venous Line Insertion
- Early Mechanical Ventilation Management
- Arterial Line Insertion
- In-house services include Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, and ENT
- EMR System: Medhost
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- A minimum of 1 year of Hospital Medicine Leadership Experience is essential
Facility Overview
Navarro Regional Hospital serves as a community healthcare provider, featuring a 162-bed acute care facility that offers both inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, as well as emergency, medical, and surgical care. The hospital is recognized for its accredited Chest Pain Center and holds Advanced Primary Stroke certification. Our facility is equipped with a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, providing services such as cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient surgery, 3D mammography, and a 16-slice CT scanner utilizing the latest diagnostic technology.
