We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Medication Aides/Technicians to join our team at Bristal Assisted Living. As a Medication Aide/Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medications for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and the administration of their medications
  • Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, while following company policies and procedures
  • Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors' orders

Requirements:

  • Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
  • Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times
  • Extremely reliable, dependable, and observant
  • Ability to work one weekend day per week
  • Must have at least an HHA/CNA certificate
  • Solid understanding of MAR's and doctors' orders a plus (but we will train the right individual)
  • Applicants must hold a New Jersey state med aide certification in order to apply for this position
