Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Banner Health. As an ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
  • Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the activities of the health care team.
  • Evaluate the patient's and family's response to care and teaching, and revise the plan of care as needed.
  • Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Arizona.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Registry/Per Diem positions require a minimum of 2 shifts a month commitment. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen, and background check (includes employment, criminal, and education) is required.
