Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Hydrite Chemical Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair of plant equipment, as well as experience with fabrication and welding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support for building and plant equipment, including welding, pipe fitting, and equipment repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Response Team to ensure a safe and effective response to emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Provide daily maintenance reports to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to operate mobile industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safe and proper welding techniques.
  • Previous maintenance experience desirable.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
