Position Overview

The Shuttle Driver plays a crucial role in providing safe and efficient transportation for guests utilizing a 16-passenger van or commercial vehicle. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service that surpasses customer expectations. The Shuttle Driver is tasked with promptly addressing customer requests and ensuring positive interactions with all guests at their designated location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, including help with luggage loading and unloading as necessary.
  • Conduct daily inspections of assigned vehicles, reporting any safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead without delay.
  • Safely transport passengers along a predetermined route with scheduled pick-up and drop-off points.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure shuttle environment at all times.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or safety issues immediately to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries courteously and providing directions as needed.
  • Proactively engage with potential passengers, offering assistance as required.
  • Document passenger counts and complete daily or shift reports as mandated.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests, clients, and team members at all times.
  • Occasionally lift and transport customer luggage or personal items, weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Previous driving experience is preferred.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to verbally interact with guests effectively.
  • Capable of operating vehicles with normal coordination, including eye-hand and hand-foot coordination.
  • Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle frequently throughout the shift, as well as remain seated for extended periods.
