JOB DESCRIPTION
The Metamorphosis Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily hands-on and demands advanced expertise in both Windows and Linux systems management.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to design, oversee, and sustain a multi-tier processing and storage framework tailored for unique, highly classified information.

Proficiency in data center standards and regulations is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of network planning methodologies, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, and familiarity with routing, ports, protocols, and data transmission.

The selected individual will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance on the architecture and utilization of all network, storage, and processing hardware and software, as well as any applications required by end users.

Additionally, the candidate must be well-versed in customer Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes and capable of collaborating with a small team of system administrators supporting a select group of end users engaged in mission-critical tasks.


Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with poly
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with nine (9) years of relevant experience
  • Experience configuring and maintaining multi-level processing and storage systems
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as XenServer, XenDesktop, Hyper-V, and VMWare
  • Familiarity with SAN management
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment
  • Experience with system backups using Microsoft SCDPM or other enterprise backup solutions
  • Ability to create and maintain SOPs, security documentation, and related reference materials

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in creating system diagrams, network diagrams, and flowcharts using Visio or similar tools
  • Experience in implementing robust security practices and developing System Security Plans (SSPs) as required
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 7/10, SCCM, SCOM, SQL, and CentOS
  • Experience in hosting web applications (websites, services, certificates) on both Windows and Linux platforms
  • Experience with McAfee ePO and IBM Domino server
  • Knowledge of commercial security scanning applications and risk mitigation strategies
