Neurodiagnostic Tech Job Description

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Tech to join our Neurology team. As a Neurodiagnostic Tech, you will be responsible for performing EEGs in an adult and pediatric population, as well as in a trauma center. You will also have the opportunity to perform evoked potentials, including VEPs, BAERs, and SSEPs, and NCVs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform EEGs and other neurodiagnostic tests
  • Monitor and interpret EEG wave patterns
  • Document patient information and test results
  • Operate equipment safely and correctly
  • Interact professionally with patients and families
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an EEG technician
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • Registered with the American Board of Neurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) or the equivalent (CAET)
  • Current driver's license
