Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Join our team at Mercer Healthcare Center as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and develop treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and review patient charts to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Plan and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive problems.
  • Administer and interpret specialized speech tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing techniques.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and participate in family meetings and education sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
