We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Registrar to join our team at Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent patient service and upholding the mission statement of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Admit patients to the hospital by completing all required fields in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify physician orders, patient information, and insurance details to ensure seamless registration.
- Perform pre-registration tasks, including verifying insurance eligibility and authorization information.
- Collect patient liabilities and assist with point-of-service payments.
- Scan documents as required and verify signed information at the time of admission.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients with a smile and efficiently registering them.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, patients, and physicians to ensure a smooth registration process.
- Document patient account notes and records accurately and concisely.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate destination.
We require a High School diploma or equivalent, with medical registration experience and basic office skills preferred. Computer skills are essential for this role.
