We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Services Registered Nurse to join our team at Wallowa County Health Care District. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric populations, in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and general aspects of care related to the surgical, endoscopy, pre-operative, and PACU environment.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons and anesthetists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical services equipment and inventory, and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Monitor and support patients during procedures, and prepare and educate patients for the surgical experience.
- Administer moderate sedation to patients for minor procedures, and coordinate pre-op visits with patients.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to perform all aspects of patient care in a safe and efficient manner. Clear, kind, and informative communication skills are essential. You must also hold an Oregon Registered Nurse Licensure.
