Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing MRI testing procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Obtaining accurate patient screening and consent, maintaining quality monitors, and following patient safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, one year of Rad Tech experience, and Registered ARRT w/MRI certification within one year of hire. A Bachelor of Science Degree and two years of MRI experience are preferred. Physical demands for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds.
