Outpatient Oncology Dietitian Job Summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Oncology Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team at McLaren Medical. This role will cover 2 days in Clarkston, MI and 2 days in Lapeer, MI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition services in the oncology specialty area, including training and mentoring patient services staff and interns as applicable.
  • Foster teamwork and develop effective strategies to implement innovative programs that lead to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, in states where required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the area of specialty required.
  • Specialty certification when applicable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems, as well as nutrient analysis programming.
