The University of Kansas Health System is proud to offer a challenging and rewarding Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmologist position within our esteemed Department of Ophthalmology. As a respected member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch patient care, advance medical knowledge, and contribute to the development of innovative treatments and therapies for ophthalmological disorders.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, neurologists, and surgeons, to deliver comprehensive eye care services to our patients. You will also have the chance to participate in cutting-edge research initiatives and contribute to the publication of scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat complex neurological conditions affecting the eyes
  • Develop and implement educational programs for medical students and residents
  • Contribute to research initiatives and publish scholarly articles
  • Participate in departmental committees and contribute to policy development

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board Certification/Ellegibility in Ophthalmology and successful completion of a surgical Neuro-Ophthalmologist fellowship
  • Medical licensure in Kansas
  • Experience in a clinical and surgical Neuro-Ophthalmologist practice and OR settings

Compensation Package:

  • Estimated salary range: $400,000 - $600,000 per year, based on experience
