Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, focusing on occupational therapy goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for rehabilitation.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in their condition, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting, with a preference for home care experience.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
