Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret manufacturing costs to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain a robust cost accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and support new product development.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to executive management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting, with a strong focus on process improvement and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards a plus).
