About the Role:
This position involves providing exceptional patient care by performing a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations, maintain accurate records, and provide top-notch customer service. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will also be responsible for preparing rooms, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with various medical procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a High School Diploma, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or completion of equivalent programs. Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital is required. You should possess strong time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using electronic health record systems. The estimated salary for this position is $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
