We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Regional Health. As a Clinic Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care in a clinic setting, assisting providers with examination and treatment of patients.
- Record patients' current status, past medical history, vaccine status, vital statistics, and medication reconciliation in preparation for provider visits.
- Respect patient confidentiality and maintain discretion when discussing patient information.
- Utilize department forms and documents in EMRs appropriately, collect, label, and transport specimens, and demonstrate proper techniques when setting up for procedures.
- Collaborate with patient care planning, actively participate in education specific to patient diagnosis and needs, and assist providers with special tests and procedures.
- Administer medication, perform treatment in accordance with standards of care, and maintain compliance with department, clinic, and state and federal regulations and policies.
- Record all phone interactions with patients in the EMR, work knowledge of phone and phone etiquette, and properly care for instruments.
- Participate in mandatory in-services, attend staff meetings, and follow MRH policy and procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency preparedness and participate in drills, act as a resource person to other staff members, and be a positive and supportive team member.
- Current Unencumbered Colorado RN license or Compact License.
- Current BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- One year clinic experience preferred.
