Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join its OBGYN practice at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
About the Role- Work closely with a highly experienced team of physicians, including a double physician team in-house 24 hours a day.
- Responsibilities will include covering OB triage, emergency room, obstetric and gynecologic consults, patient rounds, and fetal monitoring.
- Surgical assist experience and qualifications are a plus, but not required.
- Deliveries are performed by the physician team.
- 12-hour shift model from 7a-7p or 7p-7a, shared equally or by preference between WHNP/CNM team.
- 10-12 shifts per month.
- Over 6000 deliveries annually at the hospital, with 20% delivered by the hospitalist team.
- Supported by an amazing Level-IV NICU team with affiliated board-certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day.
- Additional support from a comprehensive and experienced anesthesia team available 24 hours a day.
- St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is located on the campus of St. Joseph's Hospital - Main, which is the flagship hospital of the BayCare Health System.
- The hospital offers comprehensive gynecologic, urodynamics, obstetrical, surgical, perinatal, and oncological services, as well as the Shimberg Breast Center.
