Job Summary

The General Utility is a vital role within our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, serving, and dining areas. This position requires strong sanitation habits, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment using proper procedures.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized trash area.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, serving, and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Assist with loading and unloading inventory from trucks and stocking storeroom.
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management.
Requirements
  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 30 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a hot and damp environment, with frequent exposure to water and cleaning chemicals. The ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments is essential.
