Lead Technician

At Firestone Complete Auto Care, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior technicians.

• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle systems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical customers and colleagues, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and advancements through continuous paid training and professional development.
• Assist and train junior technicians in performing technical activities, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, supporting the team's goals and objectives.

• Strong reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate complex ideas.
• A valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program, or demonstrated skills via third-party certifications/assessments.
• A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required, with a 2-year employment period to comply for new hires with external similar qualifications/certifications.
• Maintain Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
