Job Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations for compensation and pension evaluations for veterans and other military personnel. The evaluation process involves gathering medical history, performing an examination, and completing a computer-based report.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Review medical history and extract pertinent data
  • Complete reports associated with Veterans' Compensation and Pension Exams
  • Collaborate with management and support team, as well as partner organizations
  • Utilize computer-based technology for examinations, reports, and administrative tasks
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Previous experience in primary care is preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in general medical practice
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Strong computer technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
