About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Kohl's. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns, and loading and unloading trailers.
  • Input data to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates, and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
  • Follow all company, state, local, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations to promote a safe work environment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity.
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and adhere to the dress code requirements.
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing business needs, including working any designated shift and overtime as requested.

Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and apply policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, and receive, understand, and proactively respond to direction.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Adept multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs and cross-train in at least 2 departments.
